Breanne L. Snapp is a shareholder at the firm’s Madison office where her practice includes personal injury, class actions, and environmental torts. Breanne recently settled a case on behalf of several hundred residents in Juneau and Wood Counties whose groundwater was contaminated by a large Concentrated Animal Feed Operation (CAFO). She previously helped obtain a successful settlement for 241 families in the Town of Jackson, Wisconsin whose groundwater was contaminated by a gasoline pipeline rupture.
Breanne has represented thousands of employees across the country in their claims for unpaid wages and overtime, including a class of Epic Systems Quality Assurance workers and several classes of Cerner Corporation employees. She also recovered $1.85 million for a group of Wisconsin salespeople denied their commissions.
Breanne has been on the Wisconsin Super Lawyers Rising Stars list since 2017. She was also honored by the Wisconsin Law Journal as an “Up and Coming Lawyer.” Breanne was recognized for her pro bono work by the Wisconsin State Bar’s Pro Bono Honor Society in 2014, 2016, and 2017. In 2020, Breanne and other Madison Habush attorneys were honored by the Dane County Bar Association for their free legal clinic, established with Centro Hispano. Breanne has also been recognized in Best Lawyers in America® for personal injury litigation and mass tort litigation/class actions.
Breanne currently serves as past president of Dane County’s Legal Association for Women. She also serves on the board of the American Constitution Society’s Madison Lawyer Chapter. Breanne is active in United Way of Dane County and stays involved with the UW Law School through mentorship opportunities and the Office of Career and Professional Development.
Breanne received her J.D., cum laude, Order of the Coif, from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she also earned a certificate in Consumer Health Advocacy. Breanne received a B.S. in Biochemistry and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. In her free time, Breanne enjoys live music, yoga, and spending time with friends and family. She lives in Madison with her husband, two children, and their cat.
