Milwaukee, Wis. – Robert Jaskulski has been named a recipient of the Wiedemann & Wysocki Award by the American Association for Justice (AAJ). AAJ is the largest trial lawyer advocacy group in the United States, dedicated to the preservation of the civil justice system. This award is presented annually to AAJ members who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to protecting the civil justice system, through political outreach efforts and supporting AAJ’s mission: “To promote a fair and effective justice system and to support the work of attorneys in their efforts to ensure that any person who is injured by the misconduct or negligence of others can obtain justice in America’s courtrooms, even when taking on the most powerful interests.”
The award is named in honor of Fritz Wiedemann and James Anthony Wysocki, two New Orleans-based attorneys and active AAJ members. They were traveling on an AAJ assignment when they died in a tragic plane crash. Recipients of the award have carried on their legacy through extraordinary leadership and contributions.
Attorney Jaskulski will be honored at the AAJ annual convention in Las Vegas on July 13, 2021. This is the second time Jaskulski has been a recipient of the award, receiving it for the first time in 2010. “I am honored to be the recipient of this prestigious award by AAJ and my fellow trial lawyers,” Jaskulski says. “It is a privilege and honor to work with AAJ in securing the rights of my clients and protecting the sanctity of our civil justice system.”
